What First-Time Clients Should Know
Walking into your first psychic reading can feel like stepping into the unknown. Will they reveal your future? Your secrets? Something you’re not ready to hear?
A good psychic reading isn’t about theatrics or mind control. It’s about insight, reflection, and connection.
Speaking from my personal experience as a professional psychic reader, (Lee from Regenerate) all information brought forward during a psychic reading with me, is for your highest good and you are in control the entire time.

You're in control
At the beginning of every reading, I speak to the client about how I work and let them know that if I bring up a topic they don't want me getting into, they can let me know and I will move straight on to the next message. I use my psychic abilities to bring truth, peace, healing and confirmation and I deliver only what will be of benefit to you.
The importance of openness in a reading
Occasionally, I encounter clients with whom I find it difficult to connect energetically. This often happens when someone isn't fully open or receptive to the information being shared.
Our personal beliefs or emotional attachments can sometimes block the flow of insight, especially when we think we already "know" the full story.
For instance, I might tune into the emotional vulnerability of someone in your life and explain why they behave a certain way. But if you're holding a firm belief that this person is just stubborn or difficult, that resistance can unintentionally block or distort the message coming through.
When we allow our own judgments to override what’s being received, the energy can become clouded, and the reading may stall. The best readings happen when we stay open, even to perspectives we might not expect.
Questions matter
Coming to your reading with a few clear questions is a great way to make the most of your time. When you're in the moment, it’s easy to forget what you wanted to ask, and the session can fly by faster than expected.
Asking thoughtful questions not only keeps the reading focused but also helps the energy flow more naturally. Often, one question will open the door to deeper insights and lead us into other important areas you may not have considered.
It's ok to feel emotional during a psychic reading
It’s not uncommon for clients to feel a wave of emotion as soon as they sit down with me, even if they can’t pinpoint exactly why.
This is a natural and very common experience, and there’s absolutely no shame in it.
We often carry emotions just beneath the surface, keeping them tucked away in our day to day lives. A psychic reading can create a safe space that gently releases what’s been held back, opening the door to healing and deeper clarity.
There’s real strength in allowing yourself to be vulnerable. In fact, that openness is what makes a reading truly powerful and meaningful.
Guidance is potential, not a prescription
A psychic reading isn’t about telling you exactly what to do or setting your future in stone. It’s about offering insight, perspective, and possibilities. Untapped potential you can choose to act on.
I often explore scenarios in a “this or that” way. For instance, if a client is considering a job change, I’ll tune into the energy of both options to sense what it looks like if they stay, and what it looks like if they move on. This comparison can reveal where the energy feels more aligned, helping the client make a more empowered decision.
Ultimately, a reading shows what could be. But it’s your action, intention, and choices that turn potential into reality.
How to Interpret the Experience
Think of a reading as a mirror, not a manual. It reflects what’s going on around and within you, but it doesn’t dictate your choices. The most valuable insights often validate what you already feel deep down.
A psychic doesn’t take your power, they help you reclaim it.
Bottom line? Come curious. Leave clearer. And remember, the real magic happens when you act on the insight you receive.
